RE: Do you have to lower the Radiator with.....
I picked up a 3" by performance accessories on ebay for under $200.
I plan to put on my 2000 QC but I live on the East coast and it's quite cold here right now and I have too many toys in the garage.
I am currently running 31x10 tires on it now and would hope to go a might taller with the lift on it.
Seems like a pretty easy installation although there is a piece for the transfer case linkage that needs welding to make longer. They don't tell you in the description when you are shopping.

yes u can leave it stock but the fan will hit. lowing the rad the 3 `` is easy and all you need is a drill. Like they said if you have trouble then lower it. I had a 87 K5 and never lower mine and didnt have any trouble. I did a lot off roading and loved it

the kit will come with two 3in drop down brackets for the relocation of the shroud. the radiator stays attached to the body just the schroud gets lowered. the welding required isnt bad. i just took off the linkage, cut it in half and had the extender welded in. also watch your ground wires under the hood when you raise it. you will probably have to extend the body to engine ground wire. also, check your steering shaft, if its a one piece shaft you have to install a knuckle joint that comes in the kit. if its a 2 piece with a universal joint in it already you'll be fine. hope this helps.
