i pulled the cover off and the spider gears are shot. Now the hard part is trying to find parts, i called the dealer in my area and its like a month back oder on them. A freind of mine has a rear end out of a 05 or 06 Dakota, does anyone know if these gears are interchangable with the 2000 model?

www.ringpinion.com

Call them.

never understood plowing with anything but a 3/4ton or heavier duty truck, something made for hard work.

Glad that helped. Randy's is pretty much the only place I'll go for gears.
