I am selling a heater core on eBay with no reserve. I thought I would post it in here just in case people might need one.

Yes it would actually. The stock heater core has a depth of only 1 inch. This new aftermarket heater core has a depth of 2 inches.

IIRC I bought it new for about $50 total w/ shipping included off of eBay. It is nice because it is deeper than the OEM core by 1". This doubles the amount of coolant it holds.

I think he's asking how hard it is to install it.


first off if your not that mechanically inclined then take it to the dealer to do it.it's about $700-$1000

I did mine in a weekend just taking my time. and you have to remove the whole dash and drop the steering column . its a PITA to do. I'm not looking forward to doing mine again, but I should beable to do it in like 5 hours. maybe I can find out where these extra pieces go this time

I agree with Jonny. If you do not know too much about mechanics in general, I would stay away from this project. However, if you feel confident, grab a service manual and take it step by step. It isn't a hard project, just very time consuming.
