Default GM looking to buy Daimler Chrysler

If you have seen the news today they are talking.....I wonder what these would mean for the future of Dodge Trucks vs. Chevy Trucks.......if they would leave the company as is or try and be preditory and get rid of the Dodge truck line over time....what do you think will happen if this goes through ?

As long as they are removed from Daimlers screwed up company. Sad when a K-car is more reliable than a Mercedes.

both companies are hurting so bad they would probably eliminate 40-50% of their production considering they each have a vehicle in direct competition with eachother. together they would make the worlds largest crappyiest car company. thats assuming they could even get it approved without someone yelling about monopoly

GM probably wouldn't mess with what Dodge and Chrysler have done. They just want to own the nameplates just like all the othercompanies under GM. Although you could have some of the best trucks to come out of GM.
