Default Tonneau covers

I decided against a topper. I'm in the market for a cover and have been researching this and I found the Extang Black Max to be my best value. I want something I can lift up, roll back or remove altogether. Is there anything else in the market? Forgive my newbness, I just recently left 30+ years of Nissan sportscars for Dak as my daily driver. Fiancee gets the new car, and it will have more than 2 doors and I get the Dak which was our tow vehicle. Let me know. Thanks.

I bought an Access Roll Up Tonneau Cover. It's installs easy, it rolls up great, had it for four years and without any problems. The problem with hard covers are that if you out shopping and decide to get something big, you have to drive with the cover up down the highway. With the "velcro" roll up cover, just roll it up and go. Plus, it's adjustable. It's around $500, from http://www.accessconnect.com/access_tonneau_roll.htm
But it's well worth it

I too would reccomend access. I had a Tonneumasters cover on my dakota and it was JUNK. My ram has as Access and i love it. Nice heavy fabric, extra wide velcro on the sides, manual adjusting tensioner,i could go on.Before i decided on my access idid my fair share of shopping around and it was/is IMO the bestroll up there is on the market. Oh and mine was $425 installed....

yea my dad also has the extang, and its amazing in the summer and rolls up real easy but in the winter it takes all day on a weekend of having the garage closed w/ the truck in it and heat on to make it so that the cover will go back on its a real problem in the winter to put back on i dont have one because ive got some $$$ issues,(not enough of it) and having a bed liner is more important to me anyway

I live in the cold weather Massachusetts, and my Access cover is great. I've had to roll it up plenty of times in the middle of winter for my snowblower. Never had a problem with the "roll up" or the "roll back" in the dead of winter. The velcro holds strong.

checkout jrupholstery.com, they are here in new york and make a soft tonaue cover thar uses reinforce vinyl that dosn't shrink in the winter, comes with a lifetime guarantee and is just awesome. just put chapstick on your snapes to keep them from freezing and corating and you'll have no worries. I unsnap mine all the time and never have a problem. It uses a rail system with 4 clamps and takes about 10 minutes to install. best dam investment I've made so far. cost me $200, but I only live 35 miles from the shop, so no shiping. but the guy did say the have been picking up orders all over the states.
