On my '98 dak crewcab 4x4, when it is cold 35 and below, the remote door locks will not work. It is not the locks themselves because they work fine when using the button inside. From about 50 down to the upper 30'sI have to get closer to the truck for the remote to work. Above 50 it works as normal. I have replaced the batteries in both remotes with no change. Anyone have any ideas?

 

It's the transmitter, they do get old eventually.
