In addition: No wires/rotor changed. I just don't see how new plugs can drop poor mileage ( 14 in town) to worse mileage (10). How in the world does anyone get 18/22? I bought the truck new and drove many times between Macon Ga. and Columbus Oh. and never got anything close to that.

I get 20-21mpg and thats not even babying it. maybe cheack your O2 sensor. when mine crapped out with no warning, I was down to 15mpg.

but I would change your cap/rotor and wires. or atleast look at them and see what kind of shape their in.

Wanted to thank all that replied and offered suggestions. Took it to the local Chrysler Dealer. They listened to it and said it sounds like it runs fine, which it does. Asked them to put it on the analyzer and was told that they thought it a waste of money as no check eninge light was on. Can't say I ever heard a dealer turning down easy money. They reccomended an air filter change which I did and still no change. Still getting less than 11 mpg. babying it.

Thanks again.
