Default Trailer Brakes

I am helping a friend hook up a Trailer Brake Controller (REESE PILOT) His truck, 2001 Dodge Dakota, does not have the towing package and does not have the place to plug the wiring adapter into under the dash. Can anyone tell me where I can find info at or how to hook it up? Thanks.

Is there instructions with it for hard wiring it up?

http://www.etrailer.com/faq/brakecontrol.asp

Theres a diagram on how to wire one up there.

Thanks. It was way easier than I expected. Less than 45 minutes and I must say I did a neat and professional job. Color coded wires, wire loom, soldier and heat shrink. Thanks again guys!
