Ebay viper seats??
Anyone have any experience with the immitation viper seats on ebay for our dakotas? I want some leather seats and they look pretty good. I assume they bolt right up. Anything I should be worried about?
My main concern was if they would sit too low. Do they sit lower or higher or about the same as the stock seats? How adjustable are they? Comfortable?

Well of course the seller will say "yeah theyr comfortable, yeah they line up perfect", etc. He just wants to sell his product, cant blame him for that.

For the buy now price they aren't bad. They look way lower then stock seats. and NO sport seats are confertable on long drives compared to stock. But thats me. Only thing i can think is do you really want to pay 300 bux for seats that "might fit" notice the shipping is 140 to us and more for canada.

they look nice but if i had to guess i would say that they are lower than our stock seats are, but if you work in a metal shop then making some spacers to raise them up to stock height should not be a problem i could do that at home, but then i have access to a full workshop of machine shop tools too so what ever you want theyre too expensive for me, but as i said, its up to you

The questions you bring up are valid, and he would have to answer them truthfully unless he gets returns all the time. Examples:
Do they line up with stock seat rails w/o modification?
Is the seat heightthe same as stock?
Will they work correctly with stock seat belts?
Are they rated to handle a 5-point harness?
Are they real leather, or synthetic leather?
Those are questions that cannot be misinterpreted and are not subject to personal opinion.
