RE: Getting cams? was
i have the 206 cams in my 05 4.7 and they are worth the money. but before you spend 800.00 on cams find someone who is willing to install them for you. if you are not mechanically good forget it. i had a pro shop do mine in about 5.5 hours. some people tackled them and found that it took all weekend. its better to spend 400.00 and have someone put up with the aggrivation.plus you need special spanner wrenches and stuff. also if you dont get a pcm reflash the cams will still work but you will not get the full potential out of them. a bigger throttle body is a good idea. as far as anything else nope. as far as the lunati. best cam out there for the 318/360 even the 408 stroker. i built many a motor and always used lunati. stuff. the best.

I've got a set of 206 cams from KRC waiting for me when I visit the States at the end of this month. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do, as I think I've done everything that can be done without serious work.
Reading this thread, my only concern is fitting them. When I phoned KRC to discuss further tuning options, they recomended the 206 cams. They also assured me that with my past expirience as a mechanic, the job would take no more than 3 hours! They said it would be about an hour per side to get everything removed to get the covers off, 10mins to swap the cams (their words, not mine!) and half the time to replace the covers that it took to remove them. Sounds too good to be true. They also said that the only specialised tools needed for the job are suplied with the kit. As far as I know its only a wedge to hold the cams in place when you unlock/lock the the bolt holding the sprockets to the cams.
Someone here isn't telling the truth and I know who I'd trust! Either a well respected contribitor to this forum or the guy trying to sell his goods? All I'm saying is that whilst I've heard a lot of good things about KRC, it sounds like you shouldn't take everything they say as gospel. They were also really pushing the PCM flash. I'll see how I get along without it before spending any more cash. I look forward to being proved wrong when it comes to fitting time!

Ok so im just wondering what engine that cam is for. I am looking for a power upgrade for my 3.9 but i am having trouble finding performance parts for it. I have read a sweet article about how throtlle bodyspacers dont work (wish i could find it again and the more i think about it i think i found the link here). But thats the only upgrade that i can find.
Just out ofcuriosity where online can i get a set of the KRC 206 cams?
