Default Oxygen sensor no fit question

I just got a new Bosch 10272 O2 sensor for my 2000 4.7L 4x4. I finally got the old one out and noticed the new ones electrical connector does not match or fit. the plug on the receptor end does not line up with the sensor's plug slide tabs. the spacing is wider on the slides on the old sensor than the new one. its the sensor b4 the cat. Any help would really be great! thanks for your imput.

or go with borg warner, idk if these are universal tho, if so you would have to clip the ends and splice....

You might be replacing they wrong O2 sensor. I am assuming one is pre cat and one is post cat. Try to hook up the connector to the other O2 sensor's location.
