Default Front pinion. Please help

Hey everyone,
I noticed about a week ago that my transfer case(some call it a front differential) leaked a little yellow fluid. I took it in because we have had so much snow and i dont have a garage to do anything in up here at school. They said my front pinion seal needed to be replaced, but they said it probably wont leak anymore then it already has. should i get it fixed? i really dont have 135 bucks to spend on this, but if im going to do it i want to do it now while i can afford it. Any long term damage if i dont fix it? i have a 150 mile drive home tomorrow and then 150 back in a couple days, will i be alright?

i just want to make sure that it wont hurt anything later on if i dont do anything about it. thanks a lot. if anyone has heard of this causing a problem or thinks that it might, please let me know. also, i am finally going to switch those crappy bosch platinums that made my mpg go down so much out this weekend. can anyone give me the part number for both the stock champion plugs and the autolite plugs that everyone keeps talking about. I have a 99 4x4 5sp. V6

Make sure you keep on top of the fluid level. You don't want the front dif to get dry.
