Default interior NEON

This saturday I'm going to get some red neon tubes
12-24" I don't know what I'll get but i know I'm at least going to put two under the dash to light up the floor
anybody have any ideas where else I should look to put some? (besides under the seats and ceiling)
any input appreciated
keep in mind, Ohio dosen't allow forward-facing red lights
but I'm gonna have switches so they won't be on all the time

I had some blue ones in for a while, but I took them out. Got tired of them after a while, and also almost got into some trouble. One thing you might consider is (i think you already semi touched on this) that if you get pulled over and the officer sees them, or saw them and knows they are there, you can get a huge ticket for 'impersonating a police officer' or something along those lines. Almost happened to me.. mine were switched too, and I turned them off after I got pulled over, but he saw them glowing from the outside. So I would defintley say if your going to do it, keep it to just the floor glowing, and dont overdo it. The less visable it is from the outside, the better.. if its glowing off of your ceiling and onto your face and ****, it will be a problem.

I actually talked to a cop once who said as long as they aren't on, I should be ok
but as soon as i pull off public streets, it's all clear
I don't plan on using anythin illegal on the street anyhow, they would be more "show lights"

another note of mention,
If the light is able to reflect off your face, you lose large amounts of night vision

Well, as long as you've considered it and you know what your getting into, then its no prob. I'd say put them under each side of the dash to light up the floor.. then, when I had mine in, I had some behind each of the vents too, and it looked sweet as hell.

Heres some pictures of when I had mine in. They don't really do it justice, but you get the idea.

I also had one right in the middle, lighting up the cup holders and the center console and stuff. Can't find any of with them behind the vents, but it was a cool look.

looks cool,
It was actually kinda freaky when I talked to the cop 'cause I was showing off the red strobes i had in my headlights at work
and the cop just rolls around the corner of the shop, [sm=smiley35.gif]! but he was cool and said "Those are cool but mine are cooler"
he hung around for 'bout a half hourand we just BS'd

If you are just using them for show, then I would consider putting them behind the grill. I think it looks BA when the truck has glow coming from the front grill. Then you can purchase a smoke system that burst smoke on a trigger system. Strobe headlights, lighted grille, and smoke system. Now that would get people talking.

I was just throwing radical ideas out. Although it would be pretty sweet to see smoke.
Post some pics when you have it all installed. Also tell how much it cost.
