Default New tires again

What I'm looking at right now is the procomp All Terrains. I'm want to get a 30 x 9.5 15 and put them on my stock wheels for now. My concern is that they will look like ballons. I've noticed that the Bfg's are very narrow for any size they produce, I like that. Do you think getting a 30" tire and putting it on a stock wheel would make it a little less of a ballon? I've read all through the posts when I did a search throught entire dodge community large trucks and small. There are alot of opinions on the Bfg's good and bad. I for one love them but, I have been told that the Yokohama Geolander's are better. Now I saw on ebay that 4 Wheel Customs has an auction listed for a set of four Procomp AT's for $415 with free shipping. That seems like a pretty good deal to me so that got me thinking and added a third tire into my debate.

Has anyone had any experiences with either the Yokohama Geolander or the procomp AT's. I only have a 2wd so offroad terrain is not a factor in my decision. Hopefully down the road that will be a factor but, as of right now it's not.

the 9.5'swill look more or less like ballons, get a wider tire, my 10.5s are pretty straight looking
my 9.5s do bulge a bit

I dont think the 31 x 10.5 will fit my truck without a ton of rubbing. If it was a 4wd I probably wouldn't have a problem but with my 2wd they probably wont fit.

I'm going to take your advice and go with the 31 x 10.5's. I will be ordering the procomp at's. Did you have any trimming to do at all or just mount um and drive away?

well since there is a recent tire thread ..I'll ask my question. I searched this topic and apparently it's bad to go wider than 10.5 on a 15" rim. I've been looking at BFGoodrich website and I tried searching a tire size. Right now I'm using 31x10.5x15 on stock height. I wanted to go to 32s and I saw that I can do that with stock suspension. But on the BFGoodrich site, on a 15" rim and a height of 32, I can only go 11.5 in width. Would that still be okay? I heard that goin wider is not recommended.

I saw on one of these sites I was on that it said just that. For a 7" wheel you can go 9.5, 10.5, 11.5 and thats it.
