Theprogrammer has 3 different tuning options
- Standard( 87 octane tune )
- Towing (requires 91 octane or higher )
- Performance (requires 91 octane or higher )

I used the performance level on my truck (99 Dodge Dakota R/T) and got a really good response from the tune, specifically in the low to mid range area. Im selling the tuner becuase I dont use it anymore. I still have the orginal packaging.

So it will work with a 99, 3.9l? I heard that you couldn't use them on more than one vehicle. Is this true? Or did you simply set it back to OEM settings? I would be very interested in it.

 

Yeah, you can only set it to one vehicle at a time, and yeah it will work on a 99 3.9l my friend has a 01 and we tried it on his and it improved his tq alot, the difference was very noticeable.

ps- I forgot to mention that you can also read trouble codes, and clear them with this tuner.


pss- basically when you tune your truck it locks to your VIN, but when you set your vehicle back to stock settings (OEM) it clears it out and it can be used on any vehicle again, I can take pics to show you if you want.

 

where you located, and how much do you think shipping would cost.

no, it still never came yet. it was suposed to be here yesterday or today. but maybe I'll have to wait till monday to get it. but I'll post results when I get it. I'm gonna pull her outta the shop as soon as I get the tuner to see the performance it adds.
