if you really didnt want to spend the money on new balljoints, you can just buy some small grease fittings, drill a small hole on the back of the joint and tap it. it would be a good idea for stock ones.

Isnt the only thing without a grease fitting the ball joints? WhichI just replced mine with moogs, they not only have the grease fitting, but are just in general beefier.

i just did some work on my dads jeep and every little knukle and bushing on that thing has a grease port on it. my truck only has two on the moog lower ball joints. you'd think they would install those as o/e equipment. i don't buy the whole non greasable perma seal bit..

Most newer cars don't have grease fittings on anything including U-joints, I guess as cost cutting measure. Most people tend to ignore the service requirements for greasing them anyway. Plus how many people other even know what a grease gun looks like!

The top plate of the ball joints is thin metal
and several Cummins Ram owners have smeared a drill bit with heavy grease (to catch metal filings) and drilled a hole in the center, then screwed in a 'self tapping Zerk fitting that can be bought at Napa Auto Parts Stores.

You can also buy a 'needle' grease hose end that can be gently pushed between the lower rubber boot and the shaft of the ball joint to grease the ball joint. Scroll down this page to see one:
