Default Regular Tune-up Question

I was surfin' the net for prices on plug wires, but when I was on autozone.com; it said that Dakota's don't need plug wires...Is this true? I am a little over 50,000 miles and want to do the regular maintanence on the truck; that its due.

4.7Ls have coils, and do not use spark plug wires. They just use normal (16 or 18 gauge?) copper wiring. I'm not good with telling gauge sizes. After all..I have a 4.7L

As Rakaric said the 4.7 has a coil at every plug, and there are no plug wires. As far as I know this is the only Dakota motor like that. Just make sure you look up the rite motor when getting parts. And hope you never have to do an oil pump, this damb motor is a pain in the ***! I could be wrong, but thats just my opinion!
