Default Need some help

I’m trying to find the Voltage Regulator on my ‘97 Dakota.

My Haynes manual doesn’t have it listed, and we think the problem is in their.

Thanks in advance.

Most cars and trucks these days have it built into the alternator. I havn't seen a regulator since my 79 Ford Bronco.
