Default trick to unclipping o2 sensor OE wire connector???

2003 Dakota 4.7L, quad, 4x4, single catalytic converter

What is the best way to unclip the o2 sensor wire connector (OE version)? I have managed the post cat one, but I need to know if there are any tricks so I can master the pre cat sensor.

IIRC there's a red lock slid into place. I just yanked the red thing out and it slid right off.

mine just has a clip you press down... no red lock like some of the non 4.7 models have. i'm going to try a screwdriver, but i'm sure i'll break the dakota end of the connector's wires
