bank repo and it gets bounced evvery 90 days i think... give em no more than 6-7k

 

sounds like a piece of junk......pass it over and find something in better shape is my call

 

so is there anything specific i should check out tomorrow when i go to drive it...i think im gonna offer them 6500 or 7 and then walk, see what they say idk it looks like a great truck on the outside...not at all like a pos so i wanna see what it feels like after i drive it.

Exactly what Lil said. There are plenty of them you can buy from first owners. Screw lot cars, Auctions cars and the like. I used to buy and sell cars as a curbstoner. Cruise local "free" newspapers, Craigstlist and such. I found some nice cars just cruising the obituaries and asking the suvivors, Don't laugh, it works.

 

My buddy has a 98 extended cab 318, 5-speed 4x4 with a canopy he's trying to sell. It's a good truck.

There's a reason that thing didn't sell at those auctions - which is what's going on, it went to the auctions and didn't sell. It's probably the TPS or it's got a major vacuum leak causing it to stall.

 

You know, it might just need an IAC (Idle Air Control) to fix the problem of it stalling when you aren't on the gas. I doubt it's the TPS but check both out and have them fix it before you buy it.
