I bought i dakota last year knowing it would need a clutch sooner than later but now i am tight on money and the clutch is about an inch away from having no pedal at all. So i need a clutch and i was wondering who has the cheapest clutch or a good deal on a stage 1 clutch (i do alot of towing) and i may just suck it up and get a performance one but i can't find anyone that makes them for the 3.9 in my year they have every other year for the 3.9 but for the 2000 they only have the 4.7 listed i even found a centerforce for a 2000 dodge ram 3.9 but nothing for the dakota. Any help is apperciated.

 

personally, i would go down to my local auto store and ask them what they have for my modle truck and go from there, but there are a bunch of local stores by me, good luck

 

i've been to all the local stores they are all runnin about the same price 250 and up! Napa even told me $420 i almost had a heart attack

 

perdy sure that the 3.9 on the 4.7 has a 11"clutch urs has a 10 3/8 any way proaly gna cost around 200-300 for parts id go with centerforce... or sachs
