Default Serpentine Belt Idler Pulley Metric or English

2003 Dakota Standard Cab with the 3.9V6. I did try doing some searching but no luck - when replacing the serpentine belt, is the bolt that takes the tension off the idler pulley Metric or English. I figure there is enough tension on that pulley that when I start pulling on it with a wrench I want the exact fitting socket/wrench.

Also given the age of the engine design - is the engine mostly Metric or English?

Thanks and still catching up on old maintenance issues - had the truck about 5 months now.

Thanks

The nut on the tensioner is a 15mm. I use a 15mm long handled wrench on mine but I guess a standard length wrench would work just as well. Just about all of the nuts and bolts on my 3.9 are metric. The only one I know of that is SAE is the 5/8" oil drain plug.
