Default problems after transmission swap

hey guys i have a 19997 dodge dakota 5.2l v8 and i recently did my first transmission swap. After i swapped the trasmission i have run into a problem. When i shift the truck from park to reverse or drive the car jerks hard and stalls out. I purchased a used transmission from a scrapyard and torque converter that is suppose to be good and has a warranty on it. I also replaced the crank shaft postioning sensor. The transmission has enough oil in so i cant figure out why it wont shift into gear without dying

in my experience that is the crank sensor 100% of the time, since you already replaced the sensor, I'm not sure what else it could be.
