Clunk/ Pop in suspension
I have an '04 SLT w. 40,000 kms. When I stop at a red light and then accelerate, there is a clunk sound (soemtimes even sounds like a pop). It seems to also happen when the rear wheels go over a bump (pothole or backing over the curb at the end of the driveway). Dealer has no ideas. Does anyone else?

If the dealer can hear it or feel it, under warranty it is their issue to figure it out. Don't accept that they don't know what the problem is as a valid answer. It is there job to both know it and to fix it. Especially while you are still under warranty.
If I had to guess on the issue however, I'd say it is the universal on the drive shaft. Easy call actually.

I have a 2005 and i had the same problem. What happend was that the rear drivers side control arm (its a link that kind of resembles a dog bone and runs at an angle from the from the frame to the suspension) anyways there is a bolt that holds it to the frame and a nut that is welded on to the frame that the bolt threads into. The nut had broke off and was rattling inside the frame rail causing the noise and the bolt was just spinning inside that control arm. The morons at the delearship couldnt find it and i had to finally find it myself and show them what was wrong.
