Recently replaced the battery in my 05 Durango. The keyless entry stopped working, still no solution for that, but more annoyingly my liftgate wont unlock. The rest of the doors do unlock with the door switches but I cannot unlock the liftgate.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Some times you need to push the liftgate button two times. Or you have a bad remote and need to replace and reprogam the new key.

 

both of my kelyless entry keys stopped working after replacing the battery. And I did not know there was a seperate liftgate buttton, where is that located?

 

Then you need to go to the dealer, they would have a RFI tool to ck the remotes for a bettery signal. And can reprogam the RKE.
