wwva:
I went with autozones Duralast Gold pads which are lifetime warranty and in the $45-50 range. You will only have to buy them once, then the subsequent pairs are free.

I am sure others will chime in as they should.

Your other ones will not be free. They are free if they fail by breakage or a manufactures defect. That is the lifetime warranty. Not normal wear and tear. I know as I worked there before and know the warranty procedures. They will not warranty a pad that you have braked the **** out of.

Incorrect.

If you wear out the pads, from normal wear and tear, they are still worn out and replaced for free.

As a follow up, I have indeed had a least three sets of pads replaced at my local AZ for wearing out. The most recent was on the wifes97 GCV which we no longer have. She has abit of a heavy foot and they were done at 20k.
