Left Sunroof open.... and it rained
Like an idiot , I left my sunroof open on my 04 durango - it rained - the seats were wet and the middle console. I usually park with my front end at the top of the driveway slope but because I was hauling some lumber, I bagged in.... this meant that the front of the vehicle was at the bottom of the slope.
Anyway, I dried everything.... started the truck and it turned back off - then, it would not even click.... came out later and it started up fine - ran the heater for a little while. came out about an hour later... drove down the block. the wipers would not go off.... then would not go on... then were ok.
When I shut off the vehicle, it takes about 3 seconds to shut off..... of course check engine light is on with code P0571.
Looking for advise.... Do you think everything (may) be ok after all dries out? Is there anything I should do in the meantime?
Thanks so much for your help!!!

I just went out and ran the codes - probably no surprise to anyone... the codes are..
1. invalid skim key
2. a/c clutch relay circuit
3. fueld pump relay circuit
4. cruise brake circuit
How do I address these? should I reset the errors (does removing the neg cable and moving key to start remove the errors or just the light?) and wait for all to dry out?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

one more update .... I heard a clicking under the hood. I clicked my unlock on my faband that stopped it but then it started again. I removed the neg cable and put the key in the start position for 30 seconds. reconnected the neg cable. Now, when I turn off the vehicle it turns right off (does not delay for a few seconds like it was doing)
Again, any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!!!

Just to close this out...... Everything was great last night and this morning - however, driving the truck this afternoon and the instrument cluster went nuts..... Took it to the dealer and I need a new cluster. $766.00.
The other part that sucks is that they have to order it from dodge and I have to leave my car there until they get the part. Since they burn in the current mileage
oh well.
