Yeah, I had a chance to check it out - the wife has had it .... its a bolt on right to the frame( aftermarket ) but has a tag for 6000lb tow . I do have a copy of the build sheet - says heavy duty suspension but does not say tow pkg anywhere. Is this something that's ok on the tranny without the actual pkg from dodge ? Dual sway bars - 18 " rotors ...the truck is a beast but can I stop that much weight correctly, what is a distribution system ? Sorry for all the questions and THANX! for all your help ....Ive own a trailer for years but nothing this big . thanx John

Brakes won't be a problem as long as you are not having to panic stop at high speed. I've been pretty impressed with how mine tows. If you are not up to date on service you may want to go through everything. Personally I do mine exactly by the book since mine was the last year they offered the 7/70 warranty which of course is gone now. That means 15k mile rear end fluid changes and 60k trans service.

Here's all you want to know about weight distribution setups although you probably won't need it.

And check post 20 in this thread which if correct should give you some confidence.
