explain the preformance chip to me. I have an 04 AWD with a leveling kit on it and 315/70r17's tires on it as well as flowmasters on the back. Saving to lift it and get rims. What does the chip do to it and where can I get one?

I bought the performance chip off ebay. I was very skeptical at first to say the least. Even more so when it arriced in the mail. I was a small diode thing that goes where your temp sensor is. It is supposed to be programmed with the correct ohm measurement to make the air/fuel ratio run either leaner or richer (can't remember). Basically it makes the computer think the air going into the engine is cooler than what it is. It was easy to hook up and now I run premium fuel which it suggests and I have noticed a huge difference in horsepower and have gained about 2-3 more mpg. I paid $12 which included shipping. Not too bad for what I gained. The ad said 35 hp gain expected. Maybe to the engine but not to the rear wheels. Can't say for sure as it has not been on a dyno. To me it was worth the money.

Is that "true" dual exhaust? or is it split after the muffler or converter? If its a true dual exhaust what are the part numbers. I've been dying to change mine.

No, it's not a true dual exhaust. The 2 lines from the engine go to the muffler and then i have the 2 coming out from there. I'm not sure if there would be enough room for true duals.I had to remove the spare tire to route the pipe out the driver side.

Thanks. I was just checking out your pics. Very Nice! I didn't know they made eibachs for the durango. I was interested in those. Any difference with the filter you use vs. the K&N one?
