New here, Just bought a used Durango with a cracked drivers window. What other Dodge trucks/suvs have interchangeable glass that I canuse? Parts numbers are impossible to get from Dodge. Thanks !!

how long ago has it been from getting it and did you get it from a dealer if you did take it back and they will replace it for you free i know the dealer i use when i got my durango and ram will for the first week any problems like they they will fix

 

I bought from private party, former rental with 6500 miles.. Dealer said not covered under warranty and wanted $400 for glass and $150 for labor. What a rip! I took the glass out myself, piece of cake, but wrecking yards don't have the glass I tell them Durango and thats all they look for. If I knew other Dodges that have the same window , it would widen my search. Thanks for responding!

 

in that case you be better off going too your local glass shop be lot cheaper then thestealerand might get away with it on your insurance hey its worth the try anyway

 

Does your Durango have side curtain air bags? If it does it may have different glass in the doors. I know there was an option for different glass in the Durango. I think it was an option for laminated glass. I know mine is 3 separate sheets. I have an 04' Hemi Lmtd w/ side curtain air bags. I just went out and checked, mine has Secure Shield laminated safety glass. there are logos on the glass in the bottom right hand corner on the driver and passenger windows.
