Default Lock remote

Hi All-
Just bought an '05 Hemi-Durango. SLT, all the goodies. When I bought it, they did not have the 'little remote' for unlocking the doors. What I'm curious about, is that an option? I was thinking all of the SLT with power locks would have it?? Maybe they just didn't have it, andI can order one from Dodge - Or would it even be equipped with that?
Thanks for any input.
W.

so your key doesnt have the remote built into it? if it doenst then you probably dont have the factory rke module. the factory remote would be built onto the key in an 05 durango along with the skrim chip. the dealer can run your vin and tell you for sure.

Thanks for the info - I'll check with a dealer. Everything I read seems to say 'remote power doorlocks' are standard for the SLT. I'll have to check.
Thanks again
