Need new tires at 34k
I just discovered that my husband doesn't rotate his tires. Ever. So, here we are at 34k miles and he needs new tires.(You can bet he'll be rotating them this time around.)
So I am looking for suggestions for new tires. We live in Texas, so we have absolutely NO need for a tire that performs well on ice or snow. (Because we all stay home that one day a year when we get ice.
) He also doesn't need anything to go off road. He drives about 5 miles to and from work every day and that's about it. So, knowing that, can anyone provide some recommendations? We don't need anything fancy or super-expensive.
Thanks.

Go to Tirerack.com in your spare time and plug in your tire size. They have customer reviews and a price you can use as a guidleline.
Sometimes they run specials that will offset the shipping costs to the point where the shipping is almost free.

I live just outside of Chicago, never rotated my tires and lasted two years (93,000mi). So I would recommend Goodyear SRA, but the Yokohama Geolanders I got to replace them seem to be doing well (about 10,000mi in the last 6 weeks). Hope that helps.
