04 Durango Problem
I have an 04 durango. I have been having a problem w/it. After I stop & go to take off it wants to stall. I have had it 3 times actually quit on me. I took it to the shop and they hooked it up to the computer & they got nothing of it!! My gas Millege has droped to 11 on a good day!! I was getting between 18-20. With gas prices i want my millege back!!
The check engine light had been on, but this winter my husband put a can of Heet in so we didn't get frost in the tank and after putting that in the tank the check engine light came off. The only thing we can think of was we had gotten bad gas and the Heet took the water out. But the stalling has gotten a LOT worse over the last 2 days.
When it was at the shop, they said they test drove it & they didn't get it to act up at all and they were going to test drive it after lunch. We stopped down there and they said they didn't get it to act up yet. So i drove it w/a Mechanic in the car and i started it and after putting it into gear it acted up right away!! But they still don't know what's wrong with it!!
If anyone has had the samething happen or have heard of anything like this..Please help!!
