Does anyone know how to deactivate the daytime running lights on a (US) 2007 Durango?

 

You cant, because of a federal law all new vehicles are required to have them,

 

That doesn't mean you can't! But you will get fined if caught!

BS How would the cops know if it was an 06 or 07...The dealer can do with the OBDC computer, just like they turned mine on on my 300C...

 

The front end is different on the '07's

 

I have an 07 and I don't have daytime running lights. Maybe its not a law in my state?

 

Why on earth would you want to turn off the DRL? It's a safety feature. It doesn't make your headlights wear out any faster and doesn't make thevehicle appear ugly...but if you really must I believe there is a DRL module which you could bypass. Obviously, I think it is a bad idea...

 

OK, I have the same question. Does anyone think they could tell us HOW to deactivate them rather then give us a lecture on WHY to deactivate them?
