I very seldomly post but....
...I read this forum constantly. I have a 2004 Dodge Durango, SLT, 5.7L Hemi, 4WD. I love it. It is the best vehicle I've ever owned and I've had several other dodges, nissans, a BMW, etc. It's about to turn 100K miles. I am totally ashamed to say this but I just now have gotten around to changing the spark plugs. I've got a great local shop that I've had all the regular maintenance done at over the years but for whatever reason, I've always forgotten the spark plugs. Well, recently, the hemi has been running a little rough. Took it to the Dodge Dealership here (bunch of money grubbers). Of course, they suggested all this idiotic crap that they could do to it along with the tune up. You know, to the tune of about a grand! Well, they quoted $200 to do the plugs. I'm like, holy sh**. No way. About $80 for the plugs and $120 or so for labor. So, last night, I decided to do it myself. WOW. Got some good suggestions from this site on tools and stuff. Started at 6 pm and finished at 10 pm. WOW. 4 friggin hours!!!
Anyway, I just wanted to come on here and post that I successfully got it done. That's it. That's all. That's the only reason I wanted to post that.
Carry on with your day!
