Default new owner 07 durango limited 4.7 flex fuel

Well after 8 plus years with a jeep cherokee my wife finally got to step up to a dodge durango. I am very pleased with the purchase, we got it for $16,500.00. This thing is loaded with every little option I could imagine. It only had 18,000 miles. I did spring for the 8yr or 100,000 mile warranty they sold me for 2,000.00 which basically would cover everything in the vehicle. I trust this place because my family has been doing business with them for years that is why I went with the warranty.

So this is just an introduction and I will be surfing the dodge durango section more often and posting ocassional questions.

Anything comments on what I can expect would be appreciated. What would be the weaker points in the vehicle I should keep an eye on. Thanks in advance.

Congrats! I have the same vehicle. No problems yet. One weak link I read about often is the a/c system on these. Other than that not much. I haven't driven mine in over 3 weeks because of fuel prices. My other car gets mid twenties so I've parked the Durango and will only drive it when I need it.

I am supposed to pick up mine this week. I picked mine up for $15760 plus tax. It has the leather and everything. I hope you like yours cause I am excited about mine as well. I just want more power from it. Not sure how to do it yet but I have started looking into it now.

Mudforce, my wife has really enjoyed it so far. I did just have a oem tow hitch put on it has the 7 and 4 prong plug. I think the next thing will be some mud flaps. If you wanted more power you should have just sprun for the hemi right away. You still should be happy with the 4.7 it has some get up and go.
