Transmission Chirping sound??
Hello Im brand new to this forum. I'll have to post pictures of my 04 Hemi Durango...but first HELP
I know of the ticking sounds from the engine...Im not worried
But I developed this chirping sound thats impossible to locate. Initally we thought it was pulleys..so I changed them (they were not the greatest) Still no difference.
Sounds to me like it coming from the Transmission bell housing. Now its REAL bad when its cold and under load and usually go's away...but its getting WORSE and its not wanting to go away anymore...Ive got 72,000km on it.
I figured it could be a manifold leak so Ive ordered some JBA headers to replace the manifolds..hell why work towards repair when you can customize.
Also Im not sure if its related but when cold the truck will not go into gear...drive or reverse.. taken it to the dealer and they gave me the cannot duplicate bull...so they did this updated filter thing....no change!
Any help would be much appreciated.
