I drive a 2007 Durango for work as a police vehicle. Is there any way that I can make it so I can lock the doors with the truck running and the driver door open. If I need something out of the back on a call I have to unlock, get what I need, turn the truck off, relock the doors, and restart. This may be a good feature if you lock your keys in the car but I always carry spares on me and this is a MAJOR pain. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

If you wanted to just rig something up yourself you could just jumper the switch that tells you the door is open so the car will always think the door is closed. Bad thing is, I think this would prevent your interior lights from coming on when you open it. Since its a police vehicleI would assume there are moreDurangosand you could probably get something made to unlock all doors anytime a door is open. That way when ever you open your door all the doors unlock. Might take a little more digging though. Good luck!!
