I have a 2004 Durango SLT and I noticed on the driver door there is rust and I was wondering if anybody else is having this same problem and does it fall under the corrosion warranty? I have 52,000 on it now. Any help would be great.

 

I have a 2-3" area on the drivers side rear quarter that is rusting, bubled up... everyone who sees is asks me about it... I'm curious if that covered under the corrosion warranty also, I have 78,000 on it now.

Well I went to the local dealership and they said it was covered under the 7yr 70,000 mile warranty but they don't have a body shop and the closes one is 20 miles away so I better get a rental car.

 

yeah, I have rust starting also. Mine is on the bottom of drivers door and again on the drivers side rear wheel well area. Hope it's not too contagious.

 

Rust Through... not surface rust... is covered under a national 100,000 warranty IIRC.

The rust is bubbling from the inside out the dealer bodyshop I took it to said that they would have to get back with me because they think it will need a whole new door. I don't know what year that nation wide warranty came out because mine is an 04 and all I saw was a 7yr 70,000 mile warranty on corrosion.

 

Well just go a call from the dealership body shop and they will be able to fix it under warranty and I have to drop it off next week and it should be done in about 2 days later. (Awesome)!!!!
