Check Tire Pressure Light Stays On - Any Help?
Hey All
I bought a 2004 Dodge Durango R/T with a 5.7L Hemi Magnum about a month ago. Now the whole vehicle was checked and I was told the tire pressure light won't turn off, but the tire pressure is at the correct level. Is there anyway this can be fixed?
Thanks

your rango has 4 tire pressure sensors...one in each tire, if one goes bad the light comes on, shi*ty thing about that system, dosent tell u which one. Or your wheels are missing one or all of the sensors, in both cases each sensor is around $100 and you've got to get them programed, which means a trip to the dealer, think its under an hour so you can tack on another $75 to the bill....did your or the dealer recently put new tires on you truck..if so there is a good chance that they might have damaged the sensor...i work at a dealer and order these sensors all the time due to careless tech's(not saying all tech's are careless, but there are some out there). In this case warranty will not cover them because they were damaged. They only cover manufacturer defects. save your money and live with the light, if you check your tire pressure often like you're supposed to you should have no worries....
