I might be buying a 2004 SLT 5.7 with 60k miles and had a few questions:

-Anything I should be looking for? I don't know these vehicles very well.
-I plan to tow my other car, total weight will be around 6,500 incl trailer. Is this a good tow vehicle and if so, what options should I look for? (tow newbie).
-what kind of actual mileage do you get from normal driving?

I get between 9 and 12 around town, 17 to 20 on highway. I'm running a 5.7L Hemi. Durango is a good tow vehicle. What kind of engine does it have?

 

Thanks, it has a 5.7. Decided not to buy it because the trim was falling off in a several places in addition to the fender liners not fitting properly, scratches in paint etc.

 

I have an 04 Durango, limited Hemi with all the options I'll sell ya for $14,000. Nothing wrong with it at all. Flowmaster 40 series muffler and AFE 3 1/2 inch intake. 63000 miles
