Dash Lights
New to the forum. I have a problem with the dash light coming on. When it first started every light on the dash came on while driving. Took it to Advance Auto to do a system check. It came up that it was a manufacture code that they could not decipher. I called the dealership to explain the problem and was told it was the ABS system but without looking themselves they couldnt be definitive. Now I'm thinking oh boy here we go and I dont want to do this. I unhooked the battery to clear the computer and the dash lights did remain off and this problem did NOT reappear until last night which was a few months after the last encounter. Once the Durango just shut down on me at 65mph with you guessed it....no breaks, no steering. This time is a bit different in that all I have is an engine light remaining on. Now I'm all for DIY. Where do I start? I have done all the regular engine checks and find nothing. I must also say that I have read other forums that discuss an ongoing issue with the ABS System. If you even have a place on the net that gives a schematic of what I'm looking at I'd appreciate it.
Try here for your schematic's.

Thank you for replying. Your question/answer is probably correct. This is not a quick fix nor a DIY. Preventative medicine yesterday cost me a tow not only for a broken bolt located at the rear wheel gear assembly for the ABS sensor but being told after being sent to the garage they cant fix it due to a manufacture problem and must be taken to a dealer. So much for any DIY. I can still laugh about the events so it must all still be good. Learned a few things through it all. Towing company's dont understand 4 wheel drive (they sent two trucks but only after the first one had it on the tow backwards then decided it was 4x4 and had to be roll-backed. Thank gosh for AAA!
