Does anyone know if their is an updated disk for the navigation systems? My original disk is from 06.

Thanks for the info, but at $200, I don't know if the upgrade is worth it for that price.

 

I agree NavTeq must be smoking crack. You can by a brand new GPS for less than that. I would spend the money to buy a Mygig and lockpick before I give them 200 for an update disk.

 

$200 seems to be the standard rate for nav database updates to the MyGIG. With prices that ridiculous I wonder if they still get enough people to buy it to justify the cost? I would be willing to spend $50 or so for the update every few years and I imagine many other owners would also. At the current price the nav database in my unit will never be updated.

I've seen complete TomTom portable GPS nav units for less than $100 recently.

 

What's even more interesting is that I can purchase an update disk for my Durango for $200, or buy the Navteq app for my iPhone for $60 and use it in any vehicle I happen to be in.
