Default keyless entry

The lock/unlock on my 04 Durango key has quit working. I've changed the battery. Any suggestions?

I just picked up an 05 SLT and had a similar problem. I took the remote apart and found that the small metal "dome" that gets pushed under the button was compressed and not making contact properly. Once I fixed that, the remote worked fine.
Good luck!

new issue regarding this subject. I have a 05 and it seems the main module stopped working. Both keys appear to be OK (new batt, all terminals still soldered, transmits at advanced auto batt checker). where is the main module at?

The following link has the wiring and electrical system in detail:

Not sure what module you needed,

Sorry I didn't explain better, the remotes stopped locking and unlocking the doors. I first thought it was the batteries but after replacing them and checking the RF signal they still don't work. I figured the main remote unit went bad or came unplugged. Someone said it might be behind the driver door panel so before I go disassembling my car I thought I would ask someone here.

Thanks, James
