I'm looking for a larger amp alternator, for my 2006 5.4L motor.
My system is overloaded, and I have to get something soon!

went to O'Riellys yesterday, a 160 will cost me $140.

not a bad price. thanks for the help Indy, oh, by the way, i'm from Indianapolis too!

O'Rs is a good place. I use them often. Their alternator will be a stocker equivalent even at 160 amps. If you "overloaded" the original I would fear this new one isn't going to make it any better. If you decide to step up to something better, give OG a call.
