The vehicle's check engine light came on while driving. I performed the key check to get a code from the computer, but nothing showed up. I repeated the key test a few times with no luck. Anyone got an idea what the problem could be. Please help..

It is impossible to diagnose with the lack of detail you provided.

Take it to an AutoZone and ask them to read the codes for you. They will plug in a handheld device and can read the code, clear the code and tell you what you need to replace to fix the problem that caused the code.
