I need new tires of my durango and I have 245/70r17's on it now. I want a wider tire and maybe a smaller sidewall and something that looks nice. I was looking at the hankook ventus st rho6 tires but I dont know if they will stick out. They are 285/60r17 and discount tire tells me they will fit but I dont know if they will stick out. Does anyone know if these will be a problem to put on or should I stick with 265's. Any good looking tires recommendations would help.

 

The 285s your looking at will be a fair bit wider and taller because your increasing the width and not decreasing the aspect ratio enough. I would say go with a 265 or 275 60 17
