Default CEL P0300 code

My check engine light came on Monday and code P0300 showed on my tuner as random misfire (see obd-codes.com). I Reset the code and it has not come on again. The dealer tried to tell me that it was the change of fuel that happens twice a year (winter and summer) and not to worry about it. Funny how it never happened in the last two years with this truck or in four years with my 2003 4.7L Duango, but it is under warranty until March. I was wondering if I should wait 'til it comes on again or bring it to the dealer for them to blow smoke up my .....exhaust,
Thanks,
FF

It's a little late in the year to blame the fuel switch over as the culprit. Misfire could be anything and/or nothing at all. How old are the plugs? Could be a failing coil pack. Absolutely the dealer passing the buck.

Forgot to add that the spark plugs and coil packs are stock with 26,000 miles on them. I had a slight suspicion that the dealer was pushing the blame aside. Next they will tell me to do a rain dance while chanting an ancient passage from the book of divinations and twirl a septor in a clockwise fashion next to the engine...whick I would try if there was a book of divinations (Mastodon plug). I quess I will wait to see if it comes on again. Thanks Indy,
FF
