Cool Inquiring mind wants to know!

I have a 2006 durango with several problems, the mileage is 54,000

Here are my problems
1. severe rust on the bottom of the drivers door.
2. I have a exhaust leak on the right side of the engine, so here is my question, is either of these issues under warranty?
If so what is the milage and age of when the warranty ends?

Thanks in advance, Davidw221

Yes it's under warranty. Simply take it to the dealer.

Went to the dealer, they said the exhaust leak is not under warranty
and the rust is not under warranty, because the car has over 36,000 miles
sucks to be me!

Federal Rust warranty is 100,000 miles IIRC. Tell them to check into that for you.

Exhaust may be considered a consumable like tires and brakes.

Where do you live that rust would be eating away at a fairly new truck? Inside a salt shaker?
