Default 2005 4.7...to chip or not to chip?

Has anyone used tuner programs to improve performance or milage on a 4.7 l? Do you recommend one or anything specific? Stock intake and exhaust now. I know I used a superchip programmer on my F150 5.4 and was completely impressed.

IMHO, any program designed to take where the dealer stopped and ring out better performance is worthwhile. Remember it is a game of inches. One mod... even a programmer... isn't going to be dramatic. It is the added cumulation of all the mods that will give you a nice improvement.

i have the supechips tuner on my 2005 4.7, it is well worth the price just to upgrade the shift points, now i run the sct tuning, this enables me to detune the rig for when i run my nitrous, the superchips will only advance things

SCT is a great tuner but costly!

Super chips has 2 for your ride.
